February 2, 2025

We are pleased to announce that three South Sudanese students of USCRI´s Habesha Complementary Pathways Program, aimed at connecting refugees from around the world with higher education in Mexico, recently began their Engineering studies at La Salle Saltillo and ITESO universities.

Taban, an outstanding student who has demonstrated a strong interest in technology and global affairs, is currently enrolled in Engineering and Data Sciences at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO).

Taban shared his enthusiasm about pursuing his studies in Guadalajara.

“I am very excited about this new stage. I hope to make good friends and enjoy Guadalajara a lot. I will also study hard and take advantage of everything the university has to offer. I will take care of myself and give my best!”
